Employee Type

An Employee Type allows to characterize the type of an Employee, for instance “Regular” or “External”.

Add an Employee Type

  1. Click on the icon of the “Employee types” panel,
  2. Enter a ref ID
  3. Enter for each language a name and a description,
  4. Check the “Selectable” box if the Type is active,
  5. Save.

The ref ID is used to identify an Employee type, for example to match one when loading an external list of Employees via the BizDock Employee loader.

Edit an Employee Type

  1. Click on the icon for the wished Type in the “Employee types” panel,
  2. Edit the attributes,
  3. Save.

Remove an Employee Type

  1. Click on the icon for the wished Type in the “Employee types” panel,
  2. Confirm that you want to delete this Employee Type.

Org Unit Type

An Org Unit Type allows to characterize the type of an Org Unit, for instance “Department” or “Team”.

Add an Org Unit Type

  1. Click on the icon of the “Org Unit types” panel,
  2. Enter for each language a name and a description,
  3. Check the “Selectable” box if the Type is active,
  4. Save.

Edit an Org Unit Type

  1. Click on the icon for the wished Type in the “Org Unit types” panel,
  2. Edit the attributes,
  3. Save.

Remove an Org Unit Type

  1. Click on the icon for the wished Type in the “Org Unit types” panel,
  2. Confirm that you want to delete this Org Unit Type.

Competency

A Competency is a professional skill and can be assign to an Employee via identity card. It is also used to create Allocated Competency for an Initiative.

Add a Competency

  1. Click on the icon of the “Competencies” panel,
  2. Enter for each language a name and a description,
  3. Check the “Active” box if this Competency is active,
  4. Save.

Edit a Competency

  1. Click on the icon for the wished Type in the “Competencies” panel,
  2. Edit the attributes,
  3. Save.

Remove a Competency

  1. Click on the icon for the wished Type in the “Competencies” panel,
  2. Confirm that you want to delete this Competency.

Deleting a Competency does not delete the related Initiative's allocations.

Stakeholder Type

An Stakeholder Type allows to characterize the kind of a Stakeholder, for instance “Head of program” or “Product manager”.

Add a Stakeholder Type

  1. Click on the icon of the “Stakeholder types” panel,
  2. Enter for each language a name and a description,
  3. Check the “Selectable” box if the Type is active,
  4. Select the associated Portfolio Types,
  5. Select the associated Initiative Types,
  6. Save.

If a Stakeholder Type is associated to a Portfolio Type, then for all Portfolios with this Type it's possible to select the Stakeholder Type when adding a Stakeholder.

If a Stakeholder Type is associated to an Initiative Type, then for all Initiatives with this Type it's possible to select the Stakeholder Type when adding a Stakeholder.

Edit a Stakeholder Type

  1. Click on the icon for the wished Type in the “Stakeholder types” panel,
  2. Edit the attributes,
  3. Save.

Remove a Stakeholder Type

  1. Click on the icon for the wished Type in the “Stakeholder types” panel,
  2. Confirm that you want to delete this Stakeholder Type.
